Our Big Day
Arrowtown, South Island, New Zealand
2nd April, 2005

Kia Ora!* Whether you physically cross the International Date Line or simply send loving thoughts Down Under on our wedding day, we want you to know that we look forward to sharing our plans with you.

We both live our lives to the fullest and truly believe that every journey metaphorically and literally allows us to find our way ever closer to our true selves. So please enjoy the information shared herein which has all the information you will need to vicariously or literally join us in a once-in-a-life time journey to Aotearoa - the Maori name for New Zealand which appropriately means The Land of the Long White Cloud.

We heartfully and gratefully thank all our friends and family for their love and support as we set out on the path to our greatest adventure yet - our marriage.

Joy (Yankee Girl) and Alan (KiwiBoy)

*Kia Ora is a Maori greeting. It means Be Well! Do Well! All Is Well! Ora means of the light, as well as vibrant life force. Kia means “"to be."” When you are greeted with this saying, it is with the expectancy and a reminder that you are doing all it takes to nurture your vital life force. For more information on New Zealand's indigenous people, the Maori, see New Zealand.
